Romeo Santos has tapped into the ultimate formula for success in his debut album “Formula, Vol. 1,” which features addictive bachata hooks and lyrics that make you swoon. Aventura’s former front man’s latest single “Mi Santa” has hit number one on Billboard’s airplay charts. The hit also features famous Spanish flamenco guitarist Tomatito, who laces the track with a touch of eloquence.

The King of Bachata also dominated the Hot Latin Songs chart with the song “Promise” featuring Usher. Last year, about 11 million fans tuned in to watch the duo’s performance at the Latin Grammy Awards.
Santos has definitely proven that his live performances are a hot commodity. The bachatero is set to perform at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Feb. 29th. Santos has also launched a U.S. tour, which will be hitting up cities including New York, California, Miami, Texas, and more. During his tour, the Dominican and Puerto Rican singer has joined forces with Rosario Dawson's Voto Latino to raise awareness on the importance of Latinos hitting the polls in the fall. (mas)
